Gamifying Growth - Transforming Talent Marketplace Engagement with Quests & Badging

Three years after their launch, MetLife continues to have a thriving marketplace. In this session, we hear from Susanne Goett (Director, Head of Global Internal Recruiting and Talent Marketplace), Lilian Castellanos (MyPath Talent Partner) & Kim D’Antico (My Path Data Support) about the innovative strategies they’ve implemented to engage users, including: Quests: These communication campaigns foster a competitive spirit, incentivizing employees to actively participate in the marketplace. Badging: Integrated with their recognition platform, MetLife awards badges for active marketplace engagement. Users who complete all five activities—such as creating a 4/4 profile or applying for and being assigned to a cross-functional project—receive additional rewards and recognition.

They use their Recognition Platform to award badges and used a Talent Marketplace project to source a BI expert who could automate a quarterly report for them to list all employees who were eligible for badges. So far they have awarded over 22,000 badges!
